About S2 Stats

Last updated 29 October 2026

S2 Stats is a bot in this Discord server. It's here because the artist's team, who run the server, asked Studio Two Digital to help them understand how their community is doing. We work for that team. We don't own the server, and we don't use what the bot sees for anyone else.

What it does

It gives the people who run this server a private dashboard showing things like:

  • how busy the server is, and which channels and times are most active
  • what people are talking about and the general mood, so the team can see what fans care about
  • how new members are settling in, and how many stay
  • fan art shared in the fan art channels, so the team can see and celebrate it
  • how the moderation team is getting on

It never sends you messages. The only time it posts or changes anything is when the team asks it to set up the server's channels, roles and welcome messages.

What it reads

  • messages and reactions in the channels it has been given access to
  • time spent in voice channels (it never listens to or records audio)
  • when people join and leave, and roles you picked for yourself, such as pronouns or where you're from
  • introductions and images posted in introduction and fan art channels
  • kicks, bans and timeouts by the moderators

It can't read your direct messages, other servers, or channels it hasn't been given access to. If you delete a message, its words are removed from the dashboard too. If you edit one, only the edited version is kept.

Who sees it

Only the artist's own team and Studio Two. Most of what they see is totals and trends. Some views name people, such as the most active members, so the team can thank them and look after the community. We never publish anything that names you, and we never show one server's information to another server's team.

What we never do

  • sell your information or share it with advertisers
  • use it to train AI. Some summaries are written with the help of AI services, under terms that don't let them train on it
  • put together what you do in different servers to build a picture of you, other than to answer a request you make about your own data
  • read anything outside the servers the bot has been added to

How long we keep it

For two years, messages and activity stay linked to the person who posted them. After that, we remove who it was: the Discord ID is swapped for a code that can't be traced back to you and stored names are cleared, so older messages only count towards totals and topics. When the bot joins a server it reads back no more than two years of history. If the team stops working with us, everything we hold about the server is deleted within 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask us to stop recording you, to show you what we hold about you, or to delete it. Email ira@studiotwo.digital with your Discord username. Once we've checked it's you, we act within one month, usually within a week. If you ask us to stop recording you, the bot stops in every server we work with. Records of kicks, bans and timeouts may be kept where they're needed to keep a community safe.

Write the email for me (opens your email app with the message ready to send).

You can also delete your own messages at any time, or ask a moderator of this server to pass your request on.

Where it's kept

Our database is in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of the services we use, including the AI services, are in the United States and are covered by their standard data protection terms. The full list is in our privacy policy.

Questions or problems

If something doesn't look right, or you want to report a problem with the bot, email ira@studiotwo.digital. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). For the full detail, read our privacy policy and terms of service.
